Set up a time schedule to answer each questions and review all questions.

If a questions are to be answer in 60 minutes allow yourself only 7 minutes for each.

If questions are weighed  priotae that into your time allocation for question.

When the time is up for one question, skip writing leave space and began the next question.The incomplete answers can be answered during the review time.

6 incomplete answers will usually receive more credit than 3 complete ones...

Read through the questions once and note if you have any chance oin answering questions...

Pay attention to how the  questions is phrased or to the direction or words such as COMPARE and CONTRAST...

Answers will come to mind immediately for some questions

Before attempting to answer a questions put it in your own words.....

Now compare your version with the original.Do they mean the same, if they don't you've misread the questions . You'll be surprised how often they don't agree...

Think before you write..

Make a brief outline for each question..

Number the items in order you will discuses them..

Get right to the part. State your main point in the first sentence. Use your first paragraph to provide an overview of your essay.Use the rest of your essay to discuses these points in more details.Back up your points  with specfitic  information examples or questions  from your reading..

STEP 1 Type your text put a selection around your text by holding the apple key and clicking once on your type layer

Step2 go under the selct menu and choose save selection click ok

step 4 go under the channels palette window channles and click on alpha 1 go ynder the filter menu under blur choose gaussian blur enter 1 pixel and click ok

Step5 return to the layers palette and click ok o once on the backgroud layer under the filter menu under render and choose lighting effects when the dialog box appers change texture to alpha 1 the click ok

Step6 go under the image menu under adjustment and choose curves changer the input to 186 and the output to 64 click ok

step 7 go under the select menu and choose land selection choose alpha 1 from the channlel pop up click ok

Step8 go under the select menu under modify and choose expand click ok

Step 10 in the layers palette click once on the backgroud layer press apple +a press delete

Step11deselect click on the text layer in your layers palette add drop shadow click ok

Step1 Change your foreground color to black,

Step2 add a new layer

Step 3 Select the rounded rectangular tool

Step 4 In the option bar click on the fill pixels icon its the third icon

Step 5 In the option bar increase the radius to 20

step6 draw your rectangular corner box

Step 8draw a rectangular selection around the bottom 1/4 of your rounded rectangular

Step19 for the style bevel set the apple t 126 depth to 2 size 4 the highlight opacity to 100

and lower the shadow to opacity 50 don't click OK yet

Step 20 in the list of the styles on the left hand side click on then outer glow

step 21 set the blend mode to normal then click OK on the color swatch choose 30 % black as your allow color increase the spread to 25% click OK

Step22 Hold down the apple key and in the layer palette click the layer the contains the tab

Step23 select modify contract enter 5 click OK

Step 24 Select the marque tool hold down the option Key then draw rectangle starting from the bottom of your current selection to adjust a little below the top

step 28 filter menu blur choose Gaussian blur. enter 1.5 pixels click OK

step 29 Lower the opacity to 70%

Step 1 Add a new layer.

Step 2 Set your foreground color to light blue

Step 3 Select the rounded rectangle tool. In your option bar set the radius to to 40 pixels

Step 4 In the option bar , click on the third icon from the (fill pixels)

Step 5 Draw your shape on your stage

Step 6 Apple + Click on your shape layer

Step 7 Add a new layer

Step 8 Go under the select menu , under modify and choose contract. Enter 20 pixels , click OK

Step 9 Press the letter "D" then the letter "X" to set your foreground to white.

Step 10 Press option + delete

Step 11 Press Apple +D

Sep 12 Go under the filter menu , under blur , choose Gaussian blur When dialog box appears enter 10. Click OK

Step 13 Select the move tool

Step 14 Using the arrows on the key board , move your blurry white layer down to the bottom pf the pill shape

Step 15 Hold down the apple key and click on the pill layer in your layers palette

Step16Press shift + Apple I to inverse your selection

Step 17 Press the delete key

Step 18 press the shift Apple+ I

Step20 Set your foreground color to darker blue than you original blue.

Step 21 Fill your selection by passing Option+Delete

Step22 Deselect by pressing Option + d

Step 23 Hold down the apple key click once on the blurry layer in your layers palette (Be sure not to change layers). You should still be on the dark layer

Step 24 Press delete to knock a soft hole out of the blue pill shape

Step 25 Select the rectangular marquee tool

Step 26 Place your mouse inside the selection area and drag the selection upward a little bit. Tap the delete key

Step27 Repeat step 26 one or two more times until you re almost to the top of the pill (make sure to stop just short of the top

Step28 Deselect by pressing apple + D

Step29 Apple + Click on your layer to put a selection around it

Step 30 create a new layer

Step 31 Go under the select menu, under modify , choose contract

Step 32 Press the letter "D" the "X" to select your foreground white

Step 33 Select the gradient tool . In the option bar click on the down facing arrow next to the gradient thumbnail . Choose a the second gradient (Foreground to Transparent)

Step 34 Drag this gradient from the top of your selection to the bottom

Step 35 Deselect

Step36 Select the move tool . Using the arrows on the key board , move your white gradient layer upward to where its almost at the top but leave gap of dark blue between your white gradient and the top of the pill ( THIS CREATES THE HIGH LIGHT AREA OF THE PILL)

Step 37 Press apple +T

Step 38 Go under the edit menu, under transform choose Perspective,

Step 39 Grab the left bottom corner, and click and drag outward just a bit to add a perspective effect

Step 40 press enter to let photoshop know your are done

Step 41 Hide your background layer visible

Step 42 Choose drop shadow. In the dialog cox, click the color swatch

Step 43 Click on the blue section of your pill shape to colorize the shadow

Step 44 Lowe the opacity to 50%, set the angle to 90º , distance to 45, size to 32 , turn off the Global Light. Click OK to complete the effect
